Haebaru town tourist information center is close to the battlefields. Reservation is required in to enter here, dirty clothes are somewhat prepared. But I think here is a tourist destination, not where many lives were lost there, seeking thrills and haunted place, do not enter. I think it's nice to go there because there are replicas reproduced in the cultural center.

Intense World War II Okinawa military hospital is the Himeyuri students were mobilized, as is the former site was moved in the tunnel underground group. Knowing that advance tour reservations are required to visit thereof from the driver's head and then chartered a taxi, I get in touch with bad luck took the OK. To to attend the driver's place to go once because for the first time. After touring the southerly Cultural Center at the parking lot on the other side of the Woods went on around the foot. You can get the kitten small bottle touch the shrapnel of the actual administration building with reception and passed the torch and helmet, and reproduces the odor in the bunker at the time. Heavy debris and shrapnel too, this thing hit in the storm of steel, I'm going crazy just thinking about coming. The smell of the hospital bunker (more imagined terrible things are) was a cresol smell a strong odor. It is in small bottles with at that time, however, there was not, and was filled with smell different. Exclusive guide it to the No. 24 was 撞ki the Bell of peace and repose, yet busy tour and explanation. To the then only published 20 bunkers. Dug through the bottles of chemicals were buried to hide during the withdrawal from the East entrance and hard rock pick remains vivid. Is 1.8 meters in height is 1.8 m floor width, does not illuminate with a flashlight and even feet and retroactively so can't be used without a head its tightness and considerable. I get blocked with stones and go for a while, 19, and 21 branches, just opened a little crossroads. To put the bed is where surgery was too dark I feel incredible narrowness. Briefed pile wood and walls scorched black on flame radiation from the outside, through the Secretary General 70 meters underground to the West exit. Blue skies stretching out in front of the eye and is felt even the Himeyuri Memorial Tower, and sea forces command bunker tour, stood at the exit. The contrast always lose words.

Working at Naha city was originally organized in the 32 army army field hospitals had also moved haebaru public school buildings, burned by 10.10 is. With the guidance of the 32 forces on field fortification in the region are currently moat 30. starts its history as a military hospital in haebaru, haebaru public school and moved to each trench dug the tunnel trench, a U.S. Naval bombardment began late in March. 広池 sentence Yoshimoto Director following in addition to doctors, nurses, medics about 350 people in 3/24 Himeyuri students 222 teachers teacher 18 led is coming as an Academy and student nursing personnel will be mobilized. Organization of the Department of medicine, occurs in the 4/1 military landing after the explosion the injured patient for surgery (from surgery), and thoracic surgery (original medicine) will be converted into a 3rd surgery (former infectious disease Department). Not help feeling doomed and soulless, but they had no idea at that time would become a victim of the later student greatly affect this reorganization and staffing. And to withdraw because withdrawal instruction to the southern forces from late may, haebaru hospital. Evidence of forced suicide, potassium cyanide and the grenades passed here in critically ill patients. Also, in the mud while crawling follow the troops to withdraw in the critically ill patients were left behind, left the bunker was a flurry of shells crashing on the way there that it had. This haebaru army finished the war, closed as a hospital hospital bunker is haebaru-Cho 0/1990 (1990), as the battlefields of the second world war for the first time in cultural heritage supplied. Then 0/2007 (2007), also in the bunker save situation was no. 20 and no. 24 has been disclosed publicly. But larger than changes in the environment surrounding hideouts inside public unfortunately, no. 24, closed due to the inflow of Earth and sand. May 20 issue cannot tour was released at the time for its treatment is burnt underground internal delamination and delamination of characters carved patient risk, flame thrower at. Polyurethane and reinforced leave scars of the war experience changed in 8 years, starting what has been published "experiential learning" in there and feel that you can provide to the blessing at the same time that gap hurts. While witnessing the status quo will be entering trench experience, guide was told I realized the weight of the words "as far as possible to and published". 1 set 20 minutes are entering trench experience by appointment. At that time "short too" at least and that bunker conservation ideas from so I know and understood.
