  • Can use lifts and cable cars, several courses and choose the course said that there had also painless. See Mt. Fuji from the top and the weather is good, it feels good. I leave in the morning and lunch to eat at the top.

  • Holiday morning 7:30 arrived at the parking lot of the Takao Yamaguchi station. Already waiting for parking place is pretty. In the parking lot, beyond the guard station is 2,000 yen parking a short distance is 1000 yen and parking is 1,500 yen, about a 5-minute walk away and offers a wide range of parking in the parking lot were taking so long. Summit climbing route 1 outbound. Are listed in the beginners course and Internet is pretty steep. I think not confident in the legs as hard. Along the way, lifts, cable car 4-50 minute climb and was climbing to the top after a relatively gentle slope in. No. 1 route is completely paved in concrete. Shimoyama was going down in the fourth root + lift. From the top of the fourth to lift is entirely unpaved. Not even one in sneakers like 10 minutes. From the top interior clear sky, Enoshima, Yokohama Randy Mac Tower. Nice weather and Mt. Fuji from the top you can see.

  • Mountain with the Tengu of Mount Takao in the Kojiki of Japan (Sarutahiko) is naturally rich tourist attractions visited by many people. With a Bible written in Hebrew cheat sheets in the hands of the Tengu.

  • Lovely place be ready for a long walk and be careful if you go down routes that are not paved as they can be very narrow parts and it does get slippery out there, if your the adventurous type do go in a group. Also carry some water with you. Loved the pace go in early morning as it gets dark soon. (depending on the season)
  • Mt Takao is my favorite hike in the Kanto region. It's accessible, the air is amazing, in fall the leaves are beautiful, and all year round the view is amazing.
  • Great shrines, and a beautiful view on Mount Fuji (when it's not clouded).
  • Takao was a nice, brisk hike. Much of it was paved, but there are a few path choices, one of which is a dirt path. There are also a few degrees of difficulty, ranging from "steepish" to "steeper." It was not entirely demanding, was a bit busy, but was also worthwhile and there were some very friendly people on the way up.
  • Nice little spot for when you need a break from the city. Extremely easy climb.
