  • You can take the cable-car or chairlift to midway of the mountain and continue onto hiking trails from there. During autumn, the queue for the cable-car (not sure about the chairlift) can take more th...  more »
  • I went by the promise using a physically weak person / round trip cable car. Climb down the 1 hour wait, wait for two hours. Is a Mountain Summit in jam and kind person I was tired. But because it has gone on holiday and the mountain itself is nice.

  • Climbers can climb easily in excursion for the diversion is the best. We will be able to feel good because it was a sunny day.

  • This is a great place to explore for half a day. It's an easy ride out the chuo line. There are many paths up the mountain some easier than others. The scenic ones are the best for those who want a quieter and more natural experience. There are snack shops but I'd recommend bringing your own picnic lunch.
  • Fantastic views and a lot to see and do. However be aware that there are a lot of queues everywhere. No bins as well so bring your bag to take rubbish home in. There are a lot of walking trails as well but they are all labelled in Japanese. Main map has English but sign posts are in Japananese making life very difficult. Be prepared though as hike to the top was tough.
  • Great hiking trip up the mountains. The roads are very steep some parts but it's pavement or similar almost the whole way to the top. Doesn't take that long to walk up. Totally worth it.
  • Lovely place be ready for a long walk and be careful if you go down routes that are not paved as they can be very narrow parts and it does get slippery out there, if your the adventurous type do go in a group. Also carry some water with you. Loved the pace go in early morning as it gets dark soon. (depending on the season)
  • It's a lot of walking, but there's some cool stuff to see on the way up and a good selection of ways to get up the mountain. DON'T GO ON MOUNTAIN DAY, THOUGH. I lost of group about 70 times.
