Castle walk trail about 30-40 minutes. It is equipped with large image is so easy to walk. And equipment such as clothes go to hike, walking may be good.

It is a fortress built by the Hōjō clan. Not reused after a fall for the remains at the time of much dirt buried in was so. Is provided in one of the Japan hyakumeizan (百名山) Castle. Location of Hōjō ujiteru was from the administration building farther, located at the foot of the mountain. Excavation investigation was done, and is maintained in the Archaeological Park. Bird's voice is resounding, in a tranquil wooded setting, very good. There was bird better. To the Castle proper mark on the mountain the climb on foot 40 minutes. It can be in the administration building, information collection and rent a cane. I didn't see only ruins at the foot of the House so I didn't have time. Following like climb to the Castle proper mark. Administration building and guidance facilities and toilets beside the guidance facilities include free parking, convenient. Fi is the 'mountain' and 'Mori' location. I saw Viper notes billboards.

Probably the most underrated place in Hachioji. Beautiful scenery, peaceful and has some historical merit. Go there if you have a couple of hours to spare.

    Good for hiking.

Remains of the Hachiyoji Castle. Nicely organized with information center and volunteer guides. While most information is Japanese-only, there are also some materials in English. And with some luck it is possible to find an English speaking guide! To cover the whole area some light to moderate hiking is required, so it's good to get better shoes, food and drinks.

In its entirety is likely remained in the fall after the neighborhood around Edo Bakufu direct control territory, since the Meiji era national forest was not developed. With free parking and Museum. Look all around and it takes half a day. Almost climb so hiking equipment is needed.
