Theme Park
Take your family into a fairytale world at Funabashi Andersen Park, an extensive park dedicated to famed children's storyteller Hans Christian Andersen. Kids will relish the various playgrounds, including a forest-based jungle gym, with various climbing, hanging, and swinging apparatus, and a 50 m (164 ft) slide, also found on the site. Take in a faithfully realized Danish landscape, replete with colorful flower gardens and an authentic looking windmill, then check out the petting zoo, where children can meet farm animals and take pony rides. Look out for the children's art museum, a building stocked with craft materials, where children can freely cut, stick, and create to their heart's content. Consider bringing a picnic along with you to enjoy on the various open and green spaces found throughout the park.
