  • If you like shopping, then you can spend a few hours. Especially the area around Fukuoka Tenjin Station contains many restaurants and shops. Here you'll find a number of Department stores, such as Daimaru departmental stores and Loft and a furniture design shop located on the Watanabedori, 5 min walk from Fukuoka Station Small mall Solaria, and many small shops especially nice against the end of the afternoon when it goes Dim be. Just fun to walk around and poke around clothing and fun gifts

  • Line department store here, iwataya department store and fashion shops in the street continues South from the corner of Tenjin in Fukuoka City Center West, Nishitetsu Grand Hotel, Fukuoka, Shibuya as the atmosphere seems more Tenjin West pudding was famous.

  • there is always line in front of the shop, staffs are friendly, noodle soup is yummy, a bit pricy though. you have to buy ticket for noodle soup first then staff will give you a check list to specify your noodle and your soup then you can add up pork or boiled egg or rice.
  • I regret coming here for dinner. Should have gone to a more small and cosy ramenya. The experience was quite chaotic and it was hard to appreciate the food, the broth might be good (you can also control how much salt/ the hardness of the noodles etc) which is helpful, but I couldn't enjoy my meal one bit, as I felt a little confined in an atmosphere which lacked ambience.
  • Soooooo gooood! When I went, they served the ramen in a little box, which was cool! That "secret" red spicy powder is to die for, if you can handle it!
  • probably onw of the best bowls of ramen i have ever eaten if not the best. my only complaint is that i could not find the napkins and mynose got runny. probably my fault, but i recommend you bring tissues.
  • I really like the soup at 一蘭 but the 叉燒this time was just two pieces of fat.

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
