Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.

  • It was moved from Fukuoka castle entrance gate, there was a very distinct. Stamp is not available. The Kuroda family cemetery was hit on the back of the temple. At the entrance to understand is difficult, but there was a tombstone Nagamasa and josui Kuroda.

  • Josui Kuroda, and Kuroda Nagamasa later known as the "Temple of the Kuroda clan clan the Fukuoka clan". Rebuilt after World War II and disappeared, but, to this day. Spark water such as Lord Kuroda of the former cemetery had been erected in the temple.

  • Free visit of the Kuroda family's cemetery is now only on weekends and holidays. In addition not only from behind a gate. It's a little hard to understand. (Will be helpful towards others through word of mouth and good. ) Of nokyo-Sho is our timing is very difficult. (About the temple itself is not a temple of tourism and for the Dojo for monks and Buddhist temple event is unable to respond to nokyo-sho. ) Gate side Stone lanterns shine, now can take. (Because previously were interspersed with driveways and sidewalks. ) As seen from the main street offers many surprised and quite spacious. The jizo Asahi jizo statues of elevens, local people's faith is so thick. In the bun shop Cafe space co., Ltd and the incense store (sells worship supplies, amulet, and souvenirs, etc.).
