  • The island of Fukuoka City, nokonoshima island. Can be reached in 10 minutes by boat. Seasons is like, but unfortunately not without flowers September, tourists were sparse. I feel like my Cosmos field if you do a little bit more. The sunset was beautiful. Since bus service to the ferry terminal is 1 hour one evening with people not really rode a taxi back. Was a private taxi driver friendly and it is good. So different way by bus and taxi, taxi time is half of the bus is. Close to ferry terminal "of this Burger" and sells Burger says. One respondent is famous? I had said so, but good. Bathroom was OK.

  • The Island Park is the main point of interest on Nokonoshima Island. When you arrive on the island, you can take a short bus ride to get to the entrance of the Park. Who enjoy walking, can also choose to use one of those two walking routes to cross the entire island (it's about a good hour walking-in peace). The Park itself is downright beautiful and not to be missed for those who visit Fukuoka.

  • Nokonoshima is a small, suspended island along Hakata Bay. The widespread natural park on the north side of the island is Nokonoshima Island Park. It's known to people as a tourist resort for being accessible via municipal ferry in 10 minutes. There are cherry blossoms, poppies and field mustard during spring, sunflowers and bright red scarlet sage during summer, cosmos in full bloom during autumn, and daffodils during winter. There are many kinds of trees and flowers depending on the season. One can leisurely pass the time here while gazing at the beautiful scenery
  • It is a very artistic garden, well-maintained by the locals. It has different themes of flower in it. It is famous for viewing flowers all year round. There are amenities for children as well. However, after all the hassle to commute here, you still need to pay 1000 yen to enter the park.
  • This is a nicely maintained garden on top of Nokonoshima (island). When I visited wednesday 15th June) it was very quiet and peaceful. I took the bus up and walked down on the westside of the island (there's a paved path all the way back to the ferry).
  • The place is undeniably good, but look for the time when there are not a lot of visitors. With crowds of people, it loses its charm, and with it - one star for me. If going out of season is not an option, I'd look for another less popular but just as beautiful place to visit.
  • We went in spring vacation (early April) and it was full of families and young kids. The whole park caters towards families and kids but we still had an enjoyable time, looking at the flowers. At the time we went, it was fully blooming with cherry blossoms and a bunch of others. Some of the fields of flowers might have looked better a little later, but I think overall we picked a fantastic time. At this time, it's worth it for the fields of flowers. It can be a bit hard to get to via public transport so you need to put aside a good 5-6 hours just in case. The trip was worth it!
