  • Would you look if you have time, on this bench and then take a NAP and changing sea and sky and flowers at ease in mind. This is a good place.

  • Japanese spring is truly lovely. This island shows japanese hard work and the flowers were manicured perfectly. And the sight is so tranquil. Definitely a must see!  more »
  • The cherry trees were scattered after the flower-filled, and it was very nice. The streamer was felt reflections and expressions. Is there were a lot of people have taken to the sea here is clean. Was it via train, bus, ferry, bus.

  • Stay away from this. Not worth it. They take 1200yen just to get in... And you have to pay bus from the port to get here. And ferry. Per person it all adds upp to near 3000jpy. If you include subway you should be well pass that. If you plan to take girlfriend there be my guest..... But I warned you!
  • Pretty park. Great for picnics and bbqs.
  • It is a very artistic garden, well-maintained by the locals. It has different themes of flower in it. It is famous for viewing flowers all year round. There are amenities for children as well. However, after all the hassle to commute here, you still need to pay 1000 yen to enter the park.
  • We went in spring vacation (early April) and it was full of families and young kids. The whole park caters towards families and kids but we still had an enjoyable time, looking at the flowers. At the time we went, it was fully blooming with cherry blossoms and a bunch of others. Some of the fields of flowers might have looked better a little later, but I think overall we picked a fantastic time. At this time, it's worth it for the fields of flowers. It can be a bit hard to get to via public transport so you need to put aside a good 5-6 hours just in case. The trip was worth it!
  • Nokonoshima is a small, suspended island along Hakata Bay. The widespread natural park on the north side of the island is Nokonoshima Island Park. It's known to people as a tourist resort for being accessible via municipal ferry in 10 minutes. There are cherry blossoms, poppies and field mustard during spring, sunflowers and bright red scarlet sage during summer, cosmos in full bloom during autumn, and daffodils during winter. There are many kinds of trees and flowers depending on the season. One can leisurely pass the time here while gazing at the beautiful scenery

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
