  • We renewed, clean and easy to shop. Mentaiko at Hakata dates next to each other, and popular kayanoya dashi are available nationally, as mating is super small Super, so buying local food is available. Currently the Fukuoka Airport renovation construction, buy souvenirs, and difficult to reason, as well as a bullet train go is recommended shopping near the plane moving.

  • Gathered during the Hakata station souvenir shop space lost or where to buy, but too large. Change the souvenir of Kyushu.

  • Renewed in 2016 and become beautiful. Fish were out in the souvenir shop in Fukuoka and ad the city and and I to Super, so care which is best to buy one. At a supermarket just next to the eejanaika roller coaster, such as lunch, so useful for long or shorter working hours. JR takes directly from the ticket in the Ming.

  • Very nice shopping experience. This is the biggest single store in Fukuoka which sell great variety of all kinds of Fukuoka’s local products, snack and food. If you wish to grab box set from all famous ramen store in Fukuoka, strawberry related snack as well as traditional Japanese delicacy, I would say it is the best place to hunt.
  • Very cute place!! For foreigners, finding this place can be a bit challenging as it's in the interconnected underground shopping area that links to the JR train/shinkansen and subway station. On signs, Ming is written in katakana only (no romaji, as far as I could see) as 「マイング」. There is a large open food gifts area, several of which offer various snacks and sweets with one of Fukuoka's specialties, the amaou strawberry, surrounded by even more food gift boutiques, souvenir trinket/accessories boutiques, a green tea store that sells iced green tea and matcha frozen yogurt with an impressively intense flavor, a dorayaki-like store, a bakery, and an open supermarket. If you need souvenirs, this is a great place to explore.
  • Very nice shopping area before u get on train
  • Different choice of traditional Japan gift box selling here
  • Always on the hunt souvenir, wandering the dude's favorite places. Umegae mo. baked to eat, take a break on the Tully's, bought at a supermarket in the back riyolutpan back to Tokyo.

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
