  • Children and went to the Golden Week holidays. As the Dolphin would be standing room only in popularity, are excellent. In addition, exhibits of fish has been the theme of Kyushu near sea, feel unusual to visitors from outside of Kyushu. Go, especially seen in Ariake Sea fish were pretty, not worth an attempt.

  • Night Aquarium (golden week, summer and Christmas only? Upon confirmation) on the go. And unlike the daytime variety shows also enjoyed. Recommend you purchase annual passports if incidentally, more than two times per year going in, the. Setting the price pays for itself if you go twice, now can be made immediately at the entrance. May be fairly close to home, but the 7-year-old daughter, doing 10 times the buying path.

  • I went here for the may long weekend mid week, and Nice, it was a sunny day. I was able to experience fantasy and realism can be without the fabulous hotel stay and watch and by fine in the light of the Sun also said, did not like it. Vacated and if warm and sunny, and do we would have a different face but fine, but come on weekdays is recommended by all means. Day views are also good restaurants.

  • Recently refurbished and looking really nice. Loads of different fish and other aquatic life. Lots to do for all the family. The largest tank is really impressive, especially at feeding time. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is great and the view into the dolphin tank is spectacular. There is a dolphin show with several dolphins and even a couple of seals - my family enjoyed it, but such shows are not for everyone.
  • Nice presentation overall, but not enough English to make it very tourist friendly. The turtles exhibit is a total shame, way too small for the number of animals in it! The otters are really cute and my daughter loved them. A bit far out of town but the huge park nearby makes it a worthwhile day trip.
  • I went on a weekend. My son enjoyed the fish show in one of their biggest tanks. It was good, kids can have fun but was there something "special" or "particular"about the place.... Not really. I would say an average aquarium (which in Japan are quite fun in general).
  • A real pleasant surprise. We were staying nearby, went for a random stroll and ended up having a fantastic afternoon at Marine World. A little bit out of the way from Hakata but if mobile then definitely worth the visit.
  • Great Aquarium and shows for a decent price! Be aware of transportation schedules, you'll likely take the bus or train if you're a tourist.
