  • Beautiful, next to my hostel, so I choose to go last day. The zinza is beautiful and give a conformable feel to me. The sakura and red Torii is similar to the one at Kyodo~ It is next to the walking s...  more »
  • For someone who is known by being on the stage of the Hakata Gion yamakasa Hakata summer, so officials and fans think places like the sanctuary, but not ordinary shrine of the somewhat larger. I think it is worth stopping by there appearance just decorate the mountain exhibition and Festival elements besides the historic shrine.

  • Worth that visit. Traditional zen Buddhist temple. You can see people praying here by ringing a bell, making a prayer, followed by bowing twice, then clapping twice. There's also a tree which "they" say is 1,000 years old.
  • It was quite quiet on my visit because it had been raining since last night. However, the serenity and beauty were playing a strong role.
  • An amazing shrine with lots of beautiful things to see! The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing. There is no entrance fee so feel very to explore as you see fit. Overall, I would highly recommend you to come and explore this place especially in July time as a festival will be going on near the shrine.
  • Beautiful shrine. Gorgeous in the day and beautiful at night when they light it up. Very easy to get to from the subway. Clear signs that mark which exit to take from the subway.
  • A very peaceful Temple located in Fukuoka.
