Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.

  • Passed by while exploring the surroundings from the hotel were staying. For Hakata station is conveniently located off a main street in a little quiet and nice place. As has become a place of tourism for no car, was suitable for walking.

  • In the temple area in Hakata Hakata has been watching the Millennium gate. Hakata Millennium gate is located in Chengde yutenji street lined with Hakata and shrines. This Hakata Millennium gate is a gate is integrated with local residents, local businesses and Government efforts to build, was completed in 3/2014. Is a good gate feel the force is a new phylum. Also called known as Tsujido mouth gate. "Hakata millennial" and written on the name plate. This is written by the chief priest of the Dazaifu tenmangu shrine in an admirable one. And look behind the name plate on the back and written as "Guangdong vocational". Due to the current chief priest of the temple Masuo diameter in Hangzhou City, China. What stands out conspicuously parading around the building. On the net, Hakata and the Millennium gate is wooden Spire Tsujido mouth gate of the former four-legged gate style, roof is gabled this tile and medieval Hakata temple style. Nice to decorated with fine carvings.
