  • In the Kansai region and either say, classy department store and Hankyu's reputation appeared at Hakata. I think Hakata is fit for an ordinary citizen of Hanshin department store, but surprising match in the city of Hakata. Food Court corridors and easier to see. Brands I and local products are well sorted and easy to shop.

  • An upmarket general department store with good selections of quality merchandise. Bought two pairs shoes as well as food items as presents. Sales staff were courteous and helpful. Tax refund was processed efficiently.
  • Good toilets, high prices on some things you can buy a lot cheaper online. The upper floors offer more interesting stuff than the countless clothes and accessory shops on the lower ones.
  • One of the best Hankyu in Japan! Great varieties and like to shop there!
  • Located at the Hataka station easy to transport. Stores are not affected by the collapse of the road
  • Must chk out the foodhall

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
