(3.7/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
The tallest seaside structure of its kind in the country, Fukuoka Tower pierces the sky like a needle and offers an unobstructed vantage point for views over the city. Pay a visit to the futuristic 234 m (768 ft) tall tower and admire its distinctive design, which features a triangular cross-section and 8,000 mirrors covering its surface. Go up to one of the tower's three observation decks, the highest of which reaches 123 m (404 ft), for sweeping views of the surrounding town, the mountains to the east, and the Sea of Genkai. At the second deck, you can even kick back with a bite to eat or a drink at the cafe. • It certainly is a magnificent looking building. Fukuoka Tower is the third tallest building in Japan, after Skytree and Tokyo Tower. Please put it on your bucket list for things to do in Fukuoka.
  • I went by bus from Hakata station bus terminal. Using high speed, it was about 30 minutes. Before and after 3 days of birthday passed happy birthday greeting cards instead of tickets and free. While receiving the description in the elevator to the observation deck. See the sea and the mountains, very clean. Can also enjoy various machines can print the date you were born newspaper and fortune, it was interesting.

  • Fukuoka landmarks. At night, when I saw the outside of the light-up highlights. I enjoyed my stay at the views of the majority couldn't hold a cell phone camera. Lift lines are very long. But even when the climb is sometimes taken very long. If you watch enough in the night waiting in line for the elevator falling so hurry down to the proper time. Take the elevator to the ladies have to say & what it explains. Fukuoka City is all about, right next to the beach at the small momochi.

  • Free wifi multipel pokestops and good spawns. You also have multiple ways to eat, drink and sit. Its really close to the beach and as long as ita not to lively a nice atmosphere as well.
  • Obviously, it would be great if you go up the tower in order to get the full view of the entire Fukuoka city. But it costs money. It's best to take the shot of building in distance.
  • Fantastic views of the city and seaside at Momochi. It would have been nice to have more activity within the tower itself, for example, detailed information on Fukuoka and Hakata etc, Fukuoka Tower is an interesting landmark nevertheless
  • To be honest, the tower is best enjoyed from a distance. Momochi beach is a cool place to visit, especially during summer when it's decently packed with people. But if you've never been to the top of the tower, I recommend checking off your bucket list. The few of the sunset and the night skyline is gorgeous.
  • The best tourist spot because you will see the fukuoka city..superb!
