  • I tried a friend's referral to visit Berlin, to clean up the art exhibition in Asia was quite impressive. 10 minutes ' walk from Nakasu location seemed to be visiting with Nakasu-introduction to the work of Korean artists once more I think.

  • Nakasu, close to the River, we were able to visit easily. Asian international art exhibition which took place in English, Hangul, or explanation, but brochures are in English. But the description itself can easily understand each it says to. The South Koreans, the Japanese, as well as the works of artists from the East to Southeast Asia. Special exhibitions are also often felt that I was not watching the difference in a day.

  • You can access the regular exhibit for ¥200, and there are some special exhibits open for free. Descriptions of the pieces are easily read from their English translations. Interesting collection of modern Asian art. It's definitely worth the visit!
  • A good place if you want to see the Asian artist painting. Some place are like the mixture of MoMa
  • Amazingly curated museum with incredible artwork. This was a highlight for me in Fukuoka. Definitely recommend visiting
  • I was nicely surprised by the quality of the collection. Excellent!
  • This museum has small exhibitions: one is s permanent that costs 200¥ and temporary exhibitions with varying prices. Besides the art which is always great, there is a big space cheer children can play and read books while adults can have a very good coffee in the museum cafe. The place is not crowded with tourists - that makes it very cozy and fun.

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
