  • Subway Nakasu Kawabata station on the Museum of art is on the 7th floor of the riverain. Besides convenience, space and featuring exhibits and is healed after a tiring journey. Do not say this, the Japanese famous works is natural and was very fulfilling in a magical atmosphere, such as cleansing from the inside like it always brings a smile. Succeeded in person and leave the room, welcoming cats from the like are two things. Strangely helpful when entering. Children's playground, combines free lockers. Patchwork exhibitions are held in the Department and also enjoyed it. This is ¥ 200 (¥ 150 for JAF discount)! Fukuoka City is generous!

  • Come on! I got a free picture-book Museum tickets in relation to work, so I went with my boyfriend. To peep from enjoying the first picture book Museum Hall was doing next to the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, next to the Museum of fine arts. Many works of contemporary Asian art is a unique artistic impression. It might be nice to try once.

  • I was nicely surprised by the quality of the collection. Excellent!
  • Amazingly curated museum with incredible artwork. This was a highlight for me in Fukuoka. Definitely recommend visiting
  • This museum has small exhibitions: one is s permanent that costs 200¥ and temporary exhibitions with varying prices. Besides the art which is always great, there is a big space cheer children can play and read books while adults can have a very good coffee in the museum cafe. The place is not crowded with tourists - that makes it very cozy and fun.
  • There are a few paintings but those from many asian countries. lots of variety, excellent! Today, I could learn about the sad history in Philippine.
  • There are various exhibitions. Each has its own admission fee. Many local students would come too.

Where to stay in Fukuoka

As the largest city on the island, a hub of commerce, transport, and tourism, and a base for exploration of the wider region, Fukuoka offers plenty of accommodations to choose from. The most established hotels lie in Chuo Ward, the district closest to the port and on the western bank of the Naka River. Standard and luxury options abound in the this area and surrounding districts, offering a range of additional facilities to suit all tastes and budgets. Budget-conscious travelers will be pleased to find hostels and guesthouses throughout the city, but again, primarily in this central area.
