  • For the first time I descend to the Fukuoka Airport. Close to the Centre of the city were surprised. Most Observatory off the runway so close, not force.

  • Nice large airport. The metro takes you there from Hakata in five minutes. It's search for the check-in desk and customs. There are several floors and not everything is equally good. For example, our plane was not on the monitor. The people are friendlier and nicer than at Schiphol. There are plenty of chairs and the prices of drinks are normal.

  • I had quite a terrible experience using airport here. First the management isn't match what you'd expect the typical Japanese to be. The long waiting queue for the passenger to have luggages scanned is unusual for most international airports around the world. They could have done it better I believe. Second the staffs in Duty Free, of INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL, couldn't speak English but the word 'sorry', but moreover than that, the one I encounter was totally out of service-mind. However, the airport staff responded to my complaint filed and offer an apology. I hope they can raise their standard in the future.
  • Management here is so bad. Queue line is so long. They did not tell us about we can check in before exactly 2 hrs even we talked to them about we should go in which line.
  • For muslim tourist, prayer room is available at the international terminal 4th floor.
  • I'm an aviation photographer so the most important thing for me is a clear view of the runway and a place for my camera lens. Fukuoka is a great airport let down by this deck. If you're visiting an need a place to take photos and have time, pack your bag and grab a free bus to the international terminal. The international deck is better (particularly in the afternoon), but the sweet spot is a 20 minute walk south along the road from the international terminal. On the most south-west corner of the airport you'll note a road bridge that is ideal for photography and spotting (when it's not raining.... but if it's raining, would you really be out looking at aircraft?)
  • Very nice, clean, comfortable, with inexpensive restaurants airport located in the city with 30 min access to the most parts of Fukuoka. Short security lines almost all the time.
