ACROS Fukuoka Foundation, Fukuoka

(3.6/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the lush roof of ACROS Fukuoka Foundation, a pioneering green building boasting a 60 m (200 ft) high terraced roof with 76 species of plants and 1,500 trees. This international cultural center, which specializes in Asian cultural exchange, supports over 35,000 plants in total. Looking like a conventional office building with glass walls from its street entrance, the structure's green top blends seamlessly with a park behind it when viewed from above. Friendly staff at the information desk provide any help you may need, including directions to the restaurants in the basement and the subway station adjoining the building. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to ACROS Fukuoka Foundation and many more Fukuoka attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Fukuoka tourist route planner.

more »
  • Has become the cool glass staircase. The passport issuing Centre is a government facility, but tourist information corner on the ground floor, while drinking coffee slowly reestablishing your travel plans.

  • Many people are ashamed of as a little green Osaka City Osaka people. Came near the Tenjin and transfer to Hakata in that, first and foremost suppliers of large companies moved across. From the branch there soon was ushered to the Park on the other side of the building on the first floor. And if I turn around the scenery is what Green Mountain was. "Edna Nicole! "And thick smell I noticed bill Ivy and leaves all upstairs railing and sitting out, not even the companies building Windows around. In terraced fields it is also shaped like a pyramid. Ecology and global warming to prevent the ingenuity of what surprised me from the front side facing the street during a visit that was totally normal in a modern building, and branch manager of Osaka head office smiled and told us. It's an unforgettable sight.

  • A little too conservative for my taste, which they will realize soon to be a detriment, but the building is impeccable. What would really make this place pop though is if the city farmed out the event organizing to a more culturally in-tune event company. It's too damn municipal!!! No risk, no thrill.
  • Green building. Big atrium. A lot of windows
  • Attend a meeting here, great place, but a little bit hot inside during the summer time.
  • The building is quite original. From the outside, you can go upstairs to the gardens (even if the view from upstairs is not exceptional). Inside you have the tourism office if you're looking for informations.
  • Beautiful shopping area!!!!
