ACROS Fukuoka Foundation, Fukuoka
(3.6/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the lush roof of ACROS Fukuoka Foundation, a pioneering green building boasting a 60 m (200 ft) high terraced roof with 76 species of plants and 1,500 trees. This international cultural center, which specializes in Asian cultural exchange, supports over 35,000 plants in total. Looking like a conventional office building with glass walls from its street entrance, the structure's green top blends seamlessly with a park behind it when viewed from above. Friendly staff at the information desk provide any help you may need, including directions to the restaurants in the basement and the subway station adjoining the building. • Meiji Dori, which is on the main street in Fukuoka in this building Fukuoka branch offices of large companies there as tenants live. Appearance as stairs seen from the park side. All cannot imagine modern building with Ivy and flowers. From Meiji-Dori entrance is contrary to all glass in a modern building. Building 1 floor vaulted ceiling, done in a masterly as Hakata is famous for.

  • Passport creation went long ago. It seems even now. And shops selling travel items and photo shop on another floor is indispensable travel, etc. Restaurant is convenient from the luxury seems to be. And tailor shop with,,, and. Is just a modern large buildings or front which is still unknown, but looking at the bus, but back is our Green terraced. There was a sense of menacing since a decade ago, but in the buildings and relief.

  • A little too conservative for my taste, which they will realize soon to be a detriment, but the building is impeccable. What would really make this place pop though is if the city farmed out the event organizing to a more culturally in-tune event company. It's too damn municipal!!! No risk, no thrill.
  • Green building. Big atrium. A lot of windows
  • Attend a meeting here, great place, but a little bit hot inside during the summer time.
  • The building is quite original. From the outside, you can go upstairs to the gardens (even if the view from upstairs is not exceptional). Inside you have the tourism office if you're looking for informations.
  • Beautiful shopping area!!!!
