Where to stay in Fujiyoshida

The majority of visitors to Fujiyoshida come to get onto the Yoshida Trail and conquer the volcano. The city itself doesn't have much in the way of accommodations, save for some standard business hotels. Far more popular with international visitors are the resort towns to the east and west, Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako. Located on the banks of scenic lakes, they offer traditional ryokans, simple hotels, campgrounds, and hostels, with the more upmarket options including onsens.
