Enoshima Shrine, Fujisawa

4.0
A complex of three temples dedicated the goddess of knowledge, Enoshima Shrine dates back to the 5th century and remains one of the area's major Shinto sites. You'll have to climb steep stairs to reach the shrines, so wearing comfortable shoes is advised. The view from the top makes the uphill trek worthwhile--take a moment to soak in the views of the sea and contemplate the long history of this sacred place. • From Enoshima Benten bridge, head to the esukaa past the diving Nakamise-Dori bronze shrine gate. Buy eno = pass adult 1,000 yen to explore every inch. Esukaa uplink-a.k.a. okitu, nokyo-sho called the shrine Enoshima shrine. The hoanden, is bright red. I believe entertainment, accompanied by samisen music improve your prayer, and there was. Enoshima in the area half close?? Which is fun.

  • From 2028 年 3 月 2 日 stayed 2 nights hotel in Kamakura. 3/2 Kamakura sightseeing, car in 4:00 PM, shichirigahama moth arrived here on the left at the beach. Trip Advisor, here was OK and even pets, so he climbed the stairs together. Because it is dedicated to benzaiten, the young couple with a female customer. With no escalators, we went up to the top part was okay but our elderly (60 years). When we arrived at the top at the sunset before the Sun is very good. Can't wait until sunset, so I went back, but watching the sunset here might be good. Maybe as a date spot, the best!! ️

  • I just loved this place. This place has everything to offer as a perfect weekend gateway. A white sand beach. A little trekk. Good restaurants. Closer to Tokyo and Yokohama. Kamakura trains. Good shopping options and light house views. And off course nice temples. If you don't want to walk, one can use paid escalators. I came across many cute "cats" whenever I visited this place. Don't miss to visit Dragon caves on opposite side of climb towards sea.
  • Early Autumn and Winter mornings have the best chance to catch a glimpse of Mt Fuji. Enoshima is compact yet pack a punch to do and see
  • Amazing place. Dragon statues, hawks, ocean views, beautiful sunsets, Mt Fuji in the distance.
  • Amazing place, beautiful maze of different shrines and natural beauty. Caves and the shore paths are stunning
  • Three small but very beautiful temples that can be accessed via escalators for those who don't want to walk up the steep stairs for a fee of 360 yen.
