Enoshima Sea Candle, Fujisawa
(4.1/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Take a lift or climb the spiraling stairs to the top of the 40 m (131.2 ft) Enoshima Sea Candle, where you'll experience breathtaking 360 degree vistas across the bay and city. On a clear day you'll be afforded some of the best views of Mt. Fuji available, with its snow-capped, conical shape visible in the haze of the day. Not only a viewpoint, the structure still functions as a lighthouse, as well as supporting antennas providing cell phone signals. Consider a nighttime visit; aside from being recognized as the 6th best "Japan Heritage Night View," the structure lights up brilliantly, powered by solar energy collected throughout the day. Put Enoshima Sea Candle into our Fujisawa tour planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Fujisawa.

  • Want to see views from on high came to Enoshima and went up the stairs from the bottom, and visit the shrine on the way, came to the entrance. Is Street the Samuel cocking garden, go and clean it up to the lighthouse, but price is on the set of "Lighthouse" + "-en", 500 yen. No congestion or Tuesday for day of 乗ri込memashita in the elevator. You can see a 360-degree observation deck is not unobstructed flying 100 meters above sea level. MISTED far away on the day was fine, didn't see Mt. Fuji, congestion is expected in the summer, but the other half, island-hopping and Seafood lunch may be good. Parking is 200-300 yen / 30 min (a little more), time and budget we should ask. I think the Enoshima 1 day pass: 1000 yen you can buy in the Office a little money. pass.

  • I went because I was asked and said to my friend who lives in the district, go to Enoshima, take her to that tower. Cloudy, good scenery is not good. Was a little disappointing, but he was happy.

  • The view from the Sea Candle is unlike any other. Such a fantastic way to get a good 360 degree look at what Enoshima has to offer. I definitely recommend!
