Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha, Fujinomiya

4.4
Visit Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha, a volcano sanctuary at the foot of Mount Fuji established during the reign of Emperor Suinin (29 BCE to 70 CE). Part of a larger cultural site, the shrine shows the distinctive sengen-zukuri style with bright colors on the main two-storied worship hall. Although many original structures were destroyed in earthquakes, the inner shrine, outer shrine, and tower gate remain. Considered the entrance to the mountain, the temple is a starting point for many climbing tours. For a more peaceful experience, relax in the temple garden of cherry trees as koi fish swim in the large pond. This is a beautiful shrine for Mt. Fuji with a lovely garden. You can get divine water here; just boil it before you drink it.

Big shrine located near from the station. Car parking charges apply is motorcycles was guided to the space near the Torii base free. And park-like square, like the locals used in multi-purpose premises. Of course, doing a Shinto-style wedding ceremony also. To your happiness! Worth a visit if Fujinomiya Yakisoba antenna shop located in front of the shrine, so I parked, wanted to eat Curry!
