Motosuko Lake, Fujikawaguchiko-machi

4.1
#2 of 11 in Nature in Fujikawaguchiko-machi
Motosuko Lake affords picturesque views of the unspoiled natural environment, with Mt. Fuji rising formidably in the background. The deepest, clearest, and westernmost of the Fuji Five Lakes, it was originally part of a much larger lake, which a 9th-century lava flow then split into three. An image from its photogenic banks notably features on the 1,000-yen bill. Though comparatively undeveloped, the lake offers plenty of outdoor activities, with extensive hiking opportunities, fishing, and boating, as well as lakeside sites for campers to spend the night. Be sure to bring along a camera to capture the lake's iconic aspect. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Fujikawaguchiko-machi holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Motosuko Lake and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

Lake motosu Ikoi no Mori campground went 3 days 2 nights camping. Camping in a quiet and well organized, very helpful. To the tent site can be directly accessed by car for transport of luggage in, use the toilet and shower, shops as well, staff convenience. Lends Kayaks are in the campground and Lake motosu enjoyed the day. You can dive where rocks jutting out into the Lake, quite popular in, dive for was the timing a little. In addition, camp field preceding the sandy, and water skiing can be enjoyed. It was not crowded so highly transparent Lake in the high season, so take a good Lake.
