  • I'm a little suspect to talk of this place, because I love to walk in this region of Mount Fuji. This road takes us until the fifth step of Mount Fuji. And for those who will drive at the entrance to the Fuji Subaru Line, the alfalto plays a song. Don't miss out!!! Unfortunately for those who will not tour bus with hear they'il be able ...

  • Open 11/12/2016. Expand a dynamic panoramic view through the forest belt of pine, hemlock, and Abies veitchii, in about 40 minutes from the toll will reach a fifth of 2305 m above sea level. It is a paradise in the Fuji five lakes shines in view, overlooking the Southern Alps, Mt. 8, Chichibu mountains most spectacular even called border between heaven and Earth. You can get a great opportunity to observe, to nature and scenic areas such as along the image located, larch trees in bonsai garden, rear garden.

  • Come prepared. Make sure to bring a bag for your trash. Everything you bring make sure it can collapse to save room. The climb is worth it for the spectacular views.
  • The clouds rolled in so we had no view except for the shops. It was pretty depressing the amount of rubbish on sale there. But I'm sure if the view had visible I wouldn't have cared.
  • From the top of the mountain, you cannot see the mountain :-) Fujisan is more impressive from far away
  • The views up are stunning - even though we went though cloud to get there. Shops are OK pricing though not a lot of food options. Unless you like corn.
  • Not sure how to rate a rest stop. But it's pretty much hotels for people to stay in before attempting the summit of Fuji, souvenir shops, some food shops, and then a shrine in the back. This place also has a large public restroom and some scenic outlooks that I didn't see because everywhere was shrouded in fog. Also, I came from Tokyo around 85F and it was about 50s at this stop.
