Kasai Seaside Park, Edogawa

(4.2/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Escape the city and take a trip to Kasai Seaside Park, the largest park in the center of the capital. Opened in 1989, the park consists of reclaimed land, and acts as a nature reserve protecting the Tokyo Bay habitat. Well-kept gardens and lawns complement the wilder areas of the park, including the marshland bird sanctuary. However, a few scattered manmade attractions have snuck their way onto the site, so make sure to visit the aquarium during your visit, and take a ride on the 117 m (383 ft) tall ferris wheel to gain a new perspective on the park. Take a look at our Tokyo family vacation planner to schedule your visit to Kasai Seaside Park and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • In Tokyo the day after the meeting, because there was time delayed foot. 2/1 (Monday) visited 10:00, the weather was beautiful and the locals walking away piece by piece as the spacious room and location. I wanted to go to sea life Park, facilities construction for February is filled with closed said that. Check in advance, came good.

  • A beautiful park that has the aquarium, food trucks as you walk over to the giant ferris wheel and gorgeous views of Tokyo harbor. Plenty of parking.
  • It is one of my favorite park in Tokyo area. It has a BBQ area reservation required. You can rent anything you need. There is also a place where you can bring your BBQ set, no reservation is required. There are ferries wheel, an aquarium, botanical garden and some other activities you can enjoy with your family. Car parking available and the station is very convenient.
  • Amazing nature and beautiful scenery. Good for birding, aquarium, the sea and the ferris wheel!
  • This place may be good for a family outing for relaxing or for a couple for romance, but not good for watching flight landings at the Haneda airport. I solely went on that purpose. Yes, I could see the flights, but they were very far. However, the park was free of charge and it was easy to access from the station. Obviously not that much of a long walk.
  • big ferris wheel and nice ocean view!
