  • Stop the car in the free parking area next to the River along the route of the went up the slope of Omotesando. Gate admission, pay a visit fee \300. Climb the stairs from the Kannon, Acala Hall, main hall and around. Daisen from between the trees is not a particularly distinctive Temple was beautiful.

  • One of my favorite places in all of the Chugoku region. Daisen-ji is a peaceful stroll through the mountain town and towards an increasingly serene respite partway up Mt. Daisen. Beautiful in any time of year.
  • Here in early march and while access tougher due to slushy conditions, it was still a great outing.
