Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Chuo

4.0
#35 of 248 in Shopping in Tokyo
The first thing you'll notice entering Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, the highly regarded up-market department store, is its marble grandeur and a huge, ornate sculpture dominating the ground floor. From here you can explore seven floors of traditional Japanese goods, from kimonos to bonsai trees. The basement floor's food hall serves as the mall's main drawcard, stocking an array of candies and a huge variety of sushi, sashimi, and onigiri. Be sure to work your way up the building through the high fashion, homewares, and art departments, to the roof, where you'll find garden wares and pet accessories. First, the appearance is like. Unchanged from the old building style. Nice retro feel stand out, lined up next to the Bank and, surrounded around coredo Muromachi and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Car park space, ultra-luxury cars are cars were parked. I's favorite cosmetics Department on the first floor. Wide spaces, calm down, you can choose. Underground food counter stores and 数多kute I don't know.

After visiting the Branch in Epcot over the years, i decided to visit the main branch in Nihonbashi. This store is for people with what we refer to in the states as a 6 figure income. Mitsukoshi is full of history and legacy, and will not disappoint. If you happen to enjoy shopping at stores like Bloomingdales you are sure to enjoy Mitsukoshi. Needless to say the Epcot store isn't even a good representation of what Mitsukoshi is; and pales in comparison.

An old fashion department store in Nihombashi. Go to the rooftop floor and see the beautiful Bonsai collection.
