Matsuya Ginza, Chuo
(3.9/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
At Matsuya Ginza, admire the highest fashion alongside ornate and intricately prepared and displayed foodstuffs. One of two branches of the department store in the country, it was established in 1925, though today the updated building boasts a modern glass and LED facade. In addition to high-end clothing brands, the store's 11 floors also include household goods and a pet shop. As a foreign tourist you'll get tax refunds; check out the third floor to have things shipped home for you. • If you have seen one you have seen them all, all over the world. Nothing special beside that Tokyo is comparable with New York. That was it
  • I think it's because it was an image I building was old and dark lighting, but I'm now renovated little soon to be! Looking forward. Hospitality with Edo of Matsuya, Mitsukoshi, Mitsukoshi's neighbour is like, but somehow the zuncheng youth service the impression... classy and pleasant if you want is, but otherwise, feel the love, I like. I tend to shop instead of the Internet, such as kimono, yukata and dad gifts, talk to someone, you want to buy time, close family and give me advice.

  • Go to the basement food hall and you will find everything and anything you might want to eat of the highest quality mostly at a reasonable price. The range is extensive and all beautifully presented a...  more »

  • I like the jewelry store in this department store. They offered very good price for order to made ring with exactly the same catalog but much cheaper than other wedding jewelry shops around Ginza. You can also buy Issey Miyake's Bao Bao there if you go to the store earlier enough. However, it's not the right place for me to do clothe shopping in general.
  • First time I've ever been shopping with the women in my family without being bored out of my mind. What a delight this store is. And downstairs . . . omg . . . the food choices!!? And to think of the garbage that passes for food in American mall food courts.
  • This is a beautiful mall. But it has all the designer stores that exist everywhere. So it's not that fun to look around. And then the market in the basement is cool but the apples are $13............. Not a must see or buy
  • Brand new shop in the heart of Ginza. Don't forget to visit B1 & B2 for some fantastic food!
  • Still maintains its quaint old dame feel despite the competition from newly renovated stores like Tokyu Plaza. I love the alcohol shop at Basement 1.
