  • Definitely check this place out if you like stationary/crafts/writing/at supplies. There are two buildings, right across the street from each other. Lots of great stationary and cards, as well as a huge selection of pens and art supplies.
  • Very big stationery store conveniently located near Ginza station. Recommended to visit even if you’re not into art and craft or writing, as they also have a wide range of other goods such as travel and home goods. You can also customize a lot of the goods bought there, such as pens, leather wallets, notebook, and even luggage tag. Note that the personalisation service will take around half a day though (around 5hrs) There are 6-8 floors in the building, with each floor selling different type of goods, so range is extremely wide. There is also K.Itoya store just opposite of G.Itoya, which sells even more stationery goods. If you have a lot of heavy bags with you after shopping at other stores, you can store your stuff at their information counter so you can browse more comfortably.
  • Now there is G.Itoya and K.Itoya. The new section is just on the other side of the road, where they moved their pens, pencils, and notebooks to. Even more space to shop!
  • A bit pricey but the rotating selection of seasonal cards and othe stationery makes it worth the trip. You'll pay full MSRP for a fountain pen but the customer care is excellent.
  • A veritable haven of stationery. Anything and everything that you can think of in the world of stationery can be found here and next door in K.ITOYA. Also they farm lettuce. For reasons

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
