Stop by Tokyo Central Railway Station, one of the busiest transportation hubs in Japan, and observe as crowds of passengers board the speedy bullet trains. Opened in 1914, the main station building features a striking redbrick facade, renovated back to its pre-World War II appearance. Inside, you'll find a vast array of shops and eateries--the station is also directly connected to nearby shopping malls and business centers via underground passageways. • Massive, enormous, gigantic maze of a station which you will experience everytime you travel to Tokyo. Hub for the Shinkansen, lot of amenities, shop and restaurant.
  • I went to this station many times in my travels to the Japan. I never knew him without work. The main square is under perpetual construction since at least 2013, year of my discovery of this country. This year, there are also a lot of work inside the station. Everything is signposted and clean anyway. Access to the Narita express requires a bit of attention. Just follow the signs or ask the agent first! The access is on the West side of the station. The building has a beautiful main lobby. The shops in the basement are full of gift ideas. There is also enough to buy a bento in a posh enough food supermarket. Otherwise the District offers little interest in themselves concerning the traditional culture of the Japan. It is skyscrapers and company, but very clean! Venture into the skyscrapers on the floors of restaurants. Some have a great view on the sector and the station square. The atmosphere is peaceful and jazzy on the 5th floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building. But beware the lunch rush! Employees of the Tower come in droves.

  • Highlights the beauty of the new station. Appearance is of course not to be missed campus design. Like how architecture is recommended.
