Nijubashi, Chiyoda

(3.2/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
Reportedly the most photogenic place of the Imperial Palace, Nijubashi attracts both local and foreign photo enthusiasts. Built in a well-kept park and spanning a moat, this popular symbol of old Japanese architecture stands as close to the palace as visitors can get. Lit with streetlights at night, you can capture its reflection in the still water at night. It is popular with the locals, not as much with foreigners. • A commemorative occasions such as new year's day, the Emperor's birthday is the residence of the imperial family, but citizens are across the double bridge, into the Imperial Palace. Bridge over the atmosphere is emblematic of the trend of the times.

  • It is a famous spot comes out better on TV. Contrast of old Edo Castle and the double bridge air and settles down.
