  • It is a large Ekiben sales office located in Tokyo station on the first floor of the Central concourse. It is okay because it is always crowded, but the clearing register, wait a few hours even. So you can purchase the nationwide famous Ekiben, where Ekiben bought ride on the Shinkansen bullet train is fun.

  • Shop like a theme park located in Tokyo's Naka Ekiben. Every day is the Ekiben tournament. Had moved locations before one is aware, but much remains wide, congestion is increasingly felt. It is difficult to size up and you can buy various Ekiben across the country also have to go to the local.

  • Tokyo station is the station Naka is comparatively early. But according to location. Gransta time, but after it becomes a food refugees well. So I am here?. Closing time still are decent lunch. Because it is not of course Ekiben so cheap, I have about 8-900 yen for some. Sell liquor

  • Choices of bento here is mind-boggling! Bentos from all over Japan found here! Prices are quite high however, so be careful to check price-tags or you'll get shocked at the cashier! I advice against entering this place after a 7 hour flight followed by restless sleep on a hard airport bench and not having a proper dinner the last 20 hours or so, or you'll buy more than you need because your empty stomach will be making the decisions!
  • Vegan bento box in section #4! Very nice classic Japanese style food.
  • You can get all different kind of bento in this place, but it is super busy so make sure you know what you want.
  • very good
  • Ekiben Matsuri has lots of choices for Ekiben (railway boxed lunches) which are not served hot, but still delicious. The main store was a lot more crowded then the store front around the corner. I found it much faster to walk around the corner and purchase from there once I knew what I wanted.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
