Outdoor Activity
Visit the multipurpose stadium of Tokyo Dome City for a variety of activities and entertainment, including baseball games, sporting events, exhibitions, and concerts. Nicknamed Big Egg City, this family-friendly amusement center features its ingenious architecture and diverse facilities divided into zones for fun and leisure. Take a ride on the world's first hubless Ferris Wheel, or turn things up a notch by jetting through the wheel on a hyper-roller coaster. Climb onto a huge swing that resembles a Viking pirate ship, and afterwards visit the Water Symphony to watch a mesmerizing fountain react to lights and music. Options can get overwhelming, so ask the tourist information office for more details and ticket prices. Put Tokyo Dome City into our Tokyo trip itinerary maker to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Tokyo.

Took the sentai show I want to see the children, but unfortunately not doing that day. But I was very happy because there were lots of attractions. Summer was finally in the room and outside, played alternately. Take underpass across the road, so, go to the other side. Families were tired on the stairs. Food Court was crowded because it was the day of the event in the summer. Preschool and elementary students took the play about five hours, but was missing a play.

Went on a Sunday just to explore and it was a crowded, weird combination of shopping mall, amusement park, and health club. I wanted to check out the La Qua spa because I heard it is one of the few pl...  more »

It's a very cool park. I love the fact that you can enter the park freely and visit market, attraction and show without paying. Then you can by ticket for 1 rides only or passes. You can also leave the park and reenter it later. It's a very cool system. The rides are very nice small but effective. No many "sensation" thing but the thunder dolphin and the thing that drop you are really nice. The park is not very crowded, a bit expensive but worth it.

Medium sized amusement park with the visit as a tourist and as a local with good entertainment for kids and youngsters. Plenty of food options and gathering of cosplay fans. Their rollercoaster is hardcore. Obviously the area holds Tokyo biggest baseball stadium and concert arena.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
