  • Ochanomizu-kuramae Dori away along the water. I thought so if you inform the guest of the foreign closed on Sundays and public holidays is good hospitality guests on Saturday. On the first floor classroom works such as origami, but seen at the counter on the 3rd floor, chiyogami, origami variety, enjoyed. Meet the sight if you're lucky, Director Kobayashi Kazuo at Origami folding showed me. Enjoy origami and paper crafts with free admission, reservations department is subject to charges.

  • This was a nice gallery with beautiful pieces of origami on display. I didn't take a class but know it's offered here. It's a nice quick stop for those interested in paper folding.  more »
  • We thought we would visit an origami class for just less than an hour to learn how to fold the paper to a crane or frog. However, the staff explained that the class would only teach how to fold a bug ...  more »

  • It was quite small place but worthy to visit at once:) you can see amazing papar arts and take 5mins class (but we couldn't register actually)
  • Nice origami gallery and shop for all your origami needs. Staff speaks fluent english and is very friendly. If you're lucky you can see some origami crafting performance by an origami master, Mr. Kazuo Kobayashi. He's very chatty (in japanese) and likes to tell stories while crafting his artworks. Very friendly guy. They also hold origami classes every day, check their website for the schedules or ask the staff there.
  • We had a great time there! We were fortunate and an origami's Master made a demonstration for us. He even gave us his creations. The store has got a large variety of papers.
  • Cool origami gallery! We had the luck to meet the origami master, he talks to the guests while folding his paper without even looking at it, very impressive! When you buy books while he's there, he's gonna sign it for you.
  • A combination retail store, gallery space and educational facility devoted to the Japanese art of paper folding. After being inspired by assorted origami works on the gallery floor you can see how origami paper is dyed and painted in the fourth-floor workshop, and shop for paper, kits and instructional DVDs on the third floor. Many of the staff speak English.
