  • This is the famous blue pond that became well know due to being a background for Apple computers. I was disappointed because I was under the impression that it was a natural pond before I went. This i...  more »
  • In recent years is a blue pond of the topic. It is recommended that should not drive the car if you have to go early in the morning. A comparatively compact tourist destination renowned as tourist season parking is crowded and tourists will be filled immediately. You can go faster, slowly over the tourist destination after the biei. Take a mix of blue sky and blue water of unseen photos.

  • We went after a while ago, but since the typhoon disaster revived and resumed publishing. Was at that time still have haze is beautiful than I thought, there were a lot of tourists. Will Ray on visiting hours and the weather changes, so turn also faces the pond. I was there was a polarizing filter for shooting. The pond was more compact impression. No toilet, so beware.

  • Perhaps we were spoilt. The blue water in the northern part of Honshu is natural, crystal clear and stunning. The water of the blue pond is concreted in by dam walls, and was cloudy making the water closer to torquoise then blue. It may have been caused by heavy rain but we were far from impressed by this attraction. Do yourself a favour and get to the national park just south of Aomori!
  • When I visit the pond, the weather is cloudy. I believe if the weather is good, the colour of the pond will be better. If time is not enough, I don't think it is must visit spot.
  • Nice pond. Not worth going. Nothing much
