Hells of Beppu, Beppu

(3.3/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Witness but don't bathe in Hells of Beppu, a series of boiling pools created by volcanic activity. All eight thermal ponds offer something different, with one producing mud bubbles and feeding into an adjacent foot bath, another colored bright red and presenting an uncanny and photogenic appearance, and a third serving as a breeding space for crocodiles. Travel easily between the "hells" by bus tour or car. Put Hells of Beppu into our Beppu family vacation planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Beppu.

  • In the years Buri was revisited. We have visited Onishi priest hell only because I didn't have enough time, in hell entrance pay admission fee of 400 Yen and receive postcards instead of tickets. Buy ticket at last visit all around, the ticket there was fluent book, personally postcard is Memorial is good I think. And don't buy the ticket offer postcards of our postcard and other hell even I don't know, but if I wanted.

  • Speaking of rare and unusual. However, it doesn't mean that there are tasteful and inspirational. Worth buying a ticket and say, is not like. Anyway, the assessment is difficult. Will want to have eight all around, but three former one only, the better.
