Hatsushima, Atami

3.3
#1 of 6 in Nature in Atami
Kick back and relax on Hatsushima--a remote island far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Subtropical botanical gardens and swimming pools make the island resort a popular destination. Get a bird's-eye view of the area with a 30-60 minute zipline across the lush forest overlooking Sagami Bay, or make your way down to the water to fish, snorkel, or dive. Camping enthusiasts will enjoy barbecuing under the starry skies before putting their feet up for the night in one of the island camp's luxury trailer villas. Where should I go?!-and I was, but I had nothing but bland and boring. If the purpose of fishing or diving may be better. Out money like a botanical garden, but thought it wasn't like going.

Attracted to the phrase in the metropolitan area can go to the closest Islands, on board. At 2,600 yen, reasonably priced one way 25 minutes and is free. Sandy beaches, swimming and clamming are not. There is a diving school. There were people who have been involved. Went to the GW hatsushima island is a kind of tropical heat and hydration is essential. In vending machines and benches, so break went around the island. Near the harbour lined with eateries and tetrapod are stacked in the opposite (comings and goings may) there is between the rock and the tetrapod Palm-sized adult conch (contents no) balls rumbling. Pollicipes pollicipes, crabs, I was able to observe the ecology of the sea, there are also a lot of Ligia exotica. Overnight-dried squid shop handmade is a souvenir press. Large, soft body and sweetness seeps instead spread in my mouth.

Family to the hatsushima island. From Atami in 30 minutes, but the color of the sea is very clean, and I was surprised. Relieved and even a small child into play waters fishing in, will be playing. Enjoy because you can rent snorkeling and fishing empty handed, said spring was sautéed! Right by the sea and barrier-free toilets, can be enjoyed with the family. Nearby solid friendly & helpful staff.

Where to stay in Atami

The fairly modestly sized urban area of Atami boasts a number of places to stay, which is fitting for this holiday resort town. The most built-up area around the harbor has lots of modern hotels and more established guesthouses. Many focus on comfort and luxury, with traditional onsens at most of the places. Shoestring travelers will find some budget-friendly options without spa facilities--you can always pop into one of the accommodations with an onsen if the mood strikes.
