Lookout
Take in the view at Daikanbo, an observation area within the national park. The scenic spot, located on the top of a hill, offers views of five peaks of the mountain range, said to resemble a reclining Buddha. An onsite visitor center introduces the area, the significance of the view, and includes a restaurant serving light refreshments. To reach the observation platform, travel by car and use the onsite parking lot, or drop by as part of a longer walk through the national park. • 名付親 Taikan peaks is that the peak of the great writers of the Meiji era, there was a stele describing the circumstances leading up to the naming. We have to verify the mountain range of the figure of the reclining Buddha, the best place to really see ASO 5 Gaku. You could also see the panoramic view of the countryside during the Western Wall from the East wall of the caldera.

  • I went to the March. Where the observation deck is considerably colder than the ground, 900 m above sea level. Arukimasu less than 10 minutes to the Observatory from the parking lot, but from the observation deck spinning up and looks pretty distant mountains overlooking the 1st, so the view is nice. Because it was just a winter landscape was a little dull. I think that more beautiful if you surrounded green.
