  • The stairs to the busy streets of traditional Nippori shops at a glance can look down on. Traditional and quaint streets and it was fantastic.

  • A lot of the drama is filmed here, and it's good to have daylight, and it's better to have the whole atmosphere. And the store below has a lot of special items to choose from.

  • As cats on TV and well taken. Last summer there were in it! ~ and visit again, I. But as the last figure of the cat for free!. Found one finally was overshadowed on TV look up-I seemed to say even without the bad-tempered. No help because it can't read the cat's heart. Tourists from overseas "where's the cat? "And was looking for.

  • Go if you want to see a quaint downhill street , it was ok with lots of little shops. But in comparison, if you have time to explore Narita , it's not as touristy as Yanaka ginza. It's good for a day/half-day trip from Tokyo.
  • Quite traditional style shopping street. Cheap price and some interesting shops!
  • Interesting little block of shops that we checked out when the Yamanote line went down. The tea shop is pretty neat if you're into that sort of thing. There's a bunch of street food items available at a reasonable price too. Not worth going out of your way for but worth checking out if you're in the area.
  • Tour book said This is cat town. but I saw two cats only. Don't expect lots of cat here. but It is nice small street with attractive stores.
  • Can find cats sometimes

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
