Akita Museum Of Art, Akita

(3.5/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Take in a huge canvas painting, reputed to be the world's largest, at Akita Museum Of Art. Painted by the revered Western-style painter Fujita Tsuguharu, and measuring 3.65 m by 20.5 m, the piece depicts traditional Akita life throughout the seasons. Along with this star attraction, the museum exhibits various other works, including rotating exhibitions by local artists. Upon entering the museum, designed by award-winning architect Tadao Ando, you'll be greeted by an enormous triangular skylight and stark concrete walls. After viewing the works, stop in the cafe, or enjoy a picnic outside the museum on the paved, picturesque public square. Work hard manners and customs of the Akita is a sight to see. Also enjoy views from lounge Chiaki Park in ki春 summer autumn winter the taste is. Yoshinaga also is praised. After work tea and so on can be used as a space for relaxation.
