Take in a huge canvas painting, reputed to be the world's largest, at Akita Museum Of Art. Painted by the revered Western-style painter Fujita Tsuguharu, and measuring 3.65 m by 20.5 m, the piece depicts traditional Akita life throughout the seasons. Along with this star attraction, the museum exhibits various other works, including rotating exhibitions by local artists. Upon entering the museum, designed by award-winning architect Tadao Ando, you'll be greeted by an enormous triangular skylight and stark concrete walls. After viewing the works, stop in the cafe, or enjoy a picnic outside the museum on the paved, picturesque public square. • This museum falls firstly on the architecture. In addition, the work Events or Akita a real eye-catcher. The other works of art are quite modern. If you're in Akita is this actually a must.

  • Fits like exhibition of tastes, so take a look at. Originally went to the building. It is like Tadao Ando's concrete building. View from a cafe is notable. Sit facing the large window. Ago water is filled with. But saying that the frame is not on the surface of the water and moat of trees, sky and clouds reflected on one side and the view amazing! Even when sitting and want to be. Talk to shame! Such a feeling. Tea and sweets is normal, but shop is a good feeling. Anyway, sit down, do you mind washing.

  • So I take a small child in the footsteps thank you! Children like to go on ahead, slowly appreciated. Ladies two families with exhibits much undertone in concentration, broken Windows, stop the chatter had. I think still good thanks but still entered the best opening in the morning. Works nice which works well, and was overwhelmed by the Akita of Mr. Fujita's wall paintings. Mr. Saito goze Nikki was traumatic. Is the small print for the original exhibit difficulty reading, sorry.
