Where to stay in Akita

The main accommodations in the city of Akita lie close to Senshu Park, a central district that includes the primary train station and many of the main urban attractions and amenities. Choose from hotels and modern guesthouses, or a few options for budget-conscious travelers. More economical choices lie in the residential districts to the west, while many international visitors to the prefecture opt to stay in the rural areas to the east, particularly in the towns that surround the hot springs.
