  • We took our 7-year-old son to Summerland but my husband was turned back at the door because he has a tattoo. Everyone who has a tattoo is a yakuza, according to Summerland. Even if you are caucasian a...  more »
  • I didn't go all over the park like a lot of other people did, but I enjoyed the large lazy river, obstacle course and few water slides I went on. I thought it was a good price for nice cool day out.  more »
  • The hydrangea garden [ わんダフルネイチャーヴィレッジ あじさい園 ] will blow your mind - 15000! Even more than in Kamakura! More colors than I've ever seen!! There's a little 45-minute hiking course that takes you to th...  more »

  • Ever since the knife attack it's become a prison. I doubt it's a nice experience for kids to go through airport level security just to take a dip in the pool. The wave machine was off. The whole outdoor area is closed 'until it gets warm enough' (it's 27c 80f) including the lazy river and all the slides. One of the worst experiences I've had visiting an attraction
  • Love this pool ! open all year long, the outside pool open only during the summer, yo may want to avoid going there the week-end !
  • Good water park to spend one day. It has a good pool area and water adventures. It was non water adventures like free fall, rollercoaster etc.
  • Went on one of the rainiest and foggiest days in Winter, walked inside and it really felt like summer! It was warm and very colourful and the attractions were heaps of fun for kids and adults alike. In Summer it is even more exciting with the outdoor area open with more water slides and rides. Admission price was very affordable and the staff were very friendly. It is a little tricky to get to from Tokyo on public transport, buses from the station are infrequent so we got a taxi. Overall, a fun and unique experience.
  • I personally don't like waterparks all that much, but this one was pretty cool. I liked the indoor dome area where it felt like a beach. The water slides and the floating river area were decent. The only attraction that stood out for me was the deka slide, one you had to have a free pass or pay 500 yen for. Otherwise, it's a pretty standard Waterpark. Nice to visit once for half a day, but not any more than that.
