Enjoy some relaxation on Winnifred Beach, a shady white sand beach in the Fairy Hill community. Swim in its calm blue water, rest in the thick shade of trees and vines, or take a walk along the bay shore. The transparent water and nearby coral reef are great for snorkeling and spotting an array of different fish species. Hang out at one of the beach bars and restaurants, where you can try Jamaican cuisine and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. • Even in a tropical rain that we have not prevented from bathing in this lovely beach, and take refuge us at Cinthya (all of continued left arriving at the beach) where her husband prepared succulent lobsters at a fair price, did enjoy his excellent rum, all in a warm... We highly recommend.

  • This beach for my taste is one of the best that we visited in Jamaica, is accessible by land and by sea. We arrived by sea on a boat that came out of the blue lagoon, the beach is very quiet and it has small local offering food and drinks. the best thing is that you don't have to pay entry like in most of the beaches in jamaica. the sand is white and the water turquoise and to the side are rocks where you can snorkel.

  • The best free locals beach on this side of the island. This is the place to come and chill if you want to hang like a local. There are plenty of food and drink vendors so no need to pack a lunch. Getting down to the beach can be a little tricky because of the road but the payoff is worth it.
  • Great quiet. No life guard when I was there. Water is warm and it gets really deep very fast. There is also a shallow area for children. Restaurant sells some lovely homely food! Def going back there next time in Jamaica.
  • Unspoilt beautiful beach!
  • Because the. Water. Is. Cool
  • One of the few remaining Public Beaches in Portland. It's God's gift to Portlanders, friends, family and visitors. Simply beautiful it is.
