3.9/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web
Drive through the heart of the rainforest at Fern Gully, a scenic route enclosed by a thick canopy of trees and foliage. Winding for 5 km (3 mi) along a collapsed riverbed, the road offers an up-close look at more than 500 different species of fern, which give it its name. Take a leisurely ride along the route to admire an array of hardwood trees and hanging plants, or get even closer to nature by hiking. Going with your own car makes for an easy trip, though you can also book an organized tour or take a taxi.
