Doctor's Cave Beach, Montego Bay

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web
Experience soft white sands and calm sheltered waters of Doctor's Cave Beach, named so after it was donated to the community by Dr. Alexander James McCatty. The site became even more popular after a respected early 20th-century osteopath commented on the waters supposed rejuvenating qualities. You're able to rent umbrellas and chairs here, however, the trees that line the beach provide some natural shade. Take to the clear water with your snorkeling gear or relax on the sand with cocktail in hand. • The beach is really beautiful. Tonality, transparency and temperature of the water, all contribute to an excellent sea-bathing. Access is paid for and also the use of chairs and umbrellas to who takes cover or towel there is the option to stay in the shade of the trees to get away from the Sun has a restaurant/bar with good food and cold beer. It also has a bathroom with dressing room and showers. To reach this beach we took a bus in the port of Falmouth that cost $ 20 bucks per person for round-trip. Considering the experience with tourists arriving by ship, the time back is combined so that time does not stay tight to the return. We recommend the tour.
