  • Small tourist trap: costs 3 euro give access to a walkway that overlooks the Roman Theatre and the Government Spa. Pity that few meters above the road accessible to anyone with the same view (even better!). The same information as the panels are easily found on the internet!

  • Great location to visit this archaeological site in the countryside and with a Tuscan panorama

  • Roman Theatre in ruins. Very well integrated and what remains is well maintained ... You can see from the top of the city wall.

  • Beautiful view from the ledge above. A must see site in Volterra!
  • Wonderful well-preserved Roman amphitheater built for 2000 people! There were exhibition of ancient gladiator's fights this time on the stage there but unfortunately security has expelled us because of closing time (17:30) :-(
  • Beautiful rinse on a gorgeous seeing
  • Cool site in a city that predates the Romans... Avoid paying to enter the site by walking above on Volterra streets for FREE.
  • We observed from outside at the suggestion of many locals who were advised to save € 5 tickets. No doubt about it, is a plunge into the Imperial age, just outside Porta Fiorentina.
