  • Some good points to visit in this park. Be sure to go down well (cistern). Has winding stairs of iron. Is illuminated in the background, clean and safe. The ruins of the Acropolis of Volterra is mega old.

  • There are places, seen in his youth, when the soul is there still room for the wonder of life, which are fixed in my mind and heart ... And do not go away anymore. This is what happened to me looking at the Medici fortress across the natural basin of the Park Rivers. Still feel the wind's breath seen volterrano, nostrils the acrid smell of freshly mown grass and eyes a place unique, romantic, magical. The years pass, the illusions disappear, his shoulders SAG. But that vision is part of my life forever.

  • The remains of the Acropolis are scarce and explanations don't help much to imagine the splendor past. Interesting and striking the descent to the Roman cistern through a narrow spiral staircase

  • Nice park with free admission. There is fenced Etruscan acropolis on the top where you can see bases of ancient buildings. And also pretty big playground for children ;-)
  • If you are here, go to it, a nice and quiet place to give some rest to your feet
  • Nice
  • Just ugly, tired, minimum contents and nonexistent explanations. Only plus point the Roman cistern well preserved. Stolen ticket price. Very nice and well maintained, the public park.

  • My favorite place to relax in the open air in Volterra and enjoy the beauty of nature.
