  • Beautiful temple, located right at the back of the Office of tourism, perfectly preserved, free tour

  • the Church has a few pieces of value (a deposition of the thirteenth century, a remarkable marble pulpit, some valuable paintings), but overall it's a minor work, amazing in a city like this, which instead has a complex history and glorious.

  • The construction of the Church lasted several centuries, starting in the Romanesque period and ending at the Baroque: two styles that have very little in common. The Romanesque façade conserves the original appearance, while inside you can see contrasts. In particular the beautiful Romanesque Colonnade separating the aisles is topped by a coffered ceiling, rich and elaboratissimo gorgeous in other realities, here (in my opinion) jars with the rest of the architecture. In a side chapel you can osseravre the beautiful wooden statue of the Madonna dei Chierici, dating back to 400.

  • The awesome cathedral with very rich decoration and wonderful wooden ceiling inside.
  • We didn´t found an open door.
  • Worth of seeing
  • Nice Cathedral in typical Italian style, for such a small town, quite interesting. Altar piece with the authority and the ceiling a feast for the eyes.
