  • I spent a whole morning to visit the Museum of the battle, I must say that it is really touching. Very nice also the Palace of the community of Ceneda (sec. XVI) that hosts it. The Museum is divided into 3 sections, one per floor, the ticket does not cost much, I spent only for €3 for the first time the reduction over 65 (the advantages of old age). Fairly also provided the book shop. Some time ago I visited the Kobarid Museum presenting images much more grim in particular of the effects of the gas on the body of the soldiers.

  • Museum conceived and designed with the aim to activate the senses of sight, hearing and touch, to try to bring the public-as far as possible-to the sensations of the trench:-narrow paths, with the floor that varies by material; -surprise pictures (projections of soldiers); -sounds of war. Touching the child's letter to his mother.

  • In the Loggia of the Casanova is a museum dedicated to the events of World War I which more closely involved Vittorio Veneto: established in 1938, the 20th anniversary of Victory, comes from the collection of memorabilia of vittoriese Luigi Marson (1899-1952 ), one of the heroic ' 99 boys ', sent to the front in 1917, at only 18 years of age, after the defeat of Caporetto. The Museum, renovated in 2014, consists of three storeys over an immersive made with cutting edge technologies. Ground floor: "Trench". The visitor follows a tortuous path designed to immerse themselves realistically in the different aspects of life in these cramped spaces. First floor: ' employment '. The reference is to the experience suffered by the territories of the Sinistra Piave, between November 1917 and October 1918, under Austrian control. At this level is the armoury room, with its collection of weapons from the founder. Second floor: «Myth». The section is dedicated to resolving the war, battle of Vittorio, event and the exaltation that came of it in the years to come. The halls of the Museum retain aspects of the 1938 level, become historic itself. Retrieved from "Vittorio Veneto and Treviso Alps" (Francis Salazar, Touring Editore, 2016)

  • Entirely dedicated to the great war, as it crosses the front door you can hear noises of battle. The entire route is well outlined with monitor/drawers and vintage footage. Worth a visit with families and schools. To visit the last room, within large volumes listing all the names of the Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto.

  • Next there is the Rotunda, the former Mrs Gill, creative social space. These days a silhouette installation dedicated to WORLD WAR 1. Cordoned by a ready made "ban war freak or prohibition to transit the Pacific?"
