How nice, after all the Ministry spread about museums opening during this period, we arrive and surprise are closed and like us a lot of folks and that they went disappointed protesting. Congratulations, in the best moments of tourism is so smart and consistent with common sense, close to the weekly rest and then we complain about if museums are rarely visited. Congratulations again, well done!

Visiting the Museum brings alive at times moments and feelings of the soldiers on the front lines of war. How spent their days, as had relationships with family, correspondence etc. It is essential the remembrance to honour those who in the past has allowed us to be free men. The great war was for us Italians, the first major event that brought us together as a people. Advice for all parents to see their children places like this ...

Combining a striking inbound traditions museographic nationalist (2nd floor), and ultra-modern in its spirit as in its presentation (ground floor and 1st floor), the Museo della Battaglia offers visitors a rich, interesting and varied collection. Panels multilingual (Italian, English and German), aimed at a public of all ages regardless of his prior knowledge of the subject. I really liked the vision intended resolutely impartial of the conflict in the first two levels: the rigours of the Austrian occupation, for example, are explained (by the extreme poverty of the occupants) instead of being grounds for conviction, as is the variety of attitudes to the busy. The Museum Bookstore is a little thin: I'd like to find, among the proposed works, one telling the famous battle - if not there not at Vittorio Veneto, is not in Soumagne that I find! This detail, the visit was extremely interesting.

  • The Museum has been renovated so that the historical artifacts overshadow (thecae compel me to be perfectly useless object and some fronts are covered by branches for decorative purposes only). On the other hand the guides are very prepared and passionate.

  • An experience that I would do if the Director decides to enter the descriptive captions of objects/contributions exposed.
