  • In the Cathedral of Viterbo it is worth paying attention to the floors in the cosmatesque style (evidence of ancient history of the Temple), 14-century frescoes, the icon of our Lady of the 12 century the left of the main apse, the burial of Pope John 21 (died 1277) and the image on the Board "Christ among the Saints John the Evangelist, Leonardo, Peter and John the Baptist" artist Girolamo from Cremona (1472).

  • Viterbo Cathedral was built in the 12th century on the site of an ancient temple dedicated to Saint Lawrence. Next is the Bell Tower of the 14th century. Inside there is a defined some spirit of antiquity, although the Cathedral was severely damaged by bombing in 1944 year and partly lost its value. Nevertheless, some frescoes remain.
