  • Thi is a very big fortress, blocking the France road. Inside you can find an interesting museum on Alps environment, with original multimedia shows. You also see all the internal rooms and gun places.  more »
  • very large fort in 3 parts, the gate David and the senior artillery locations are well restored, low locations are abandoned. Only a part of the barracks are rehabilitated.

  • We were two couples, we opted for a guided tour of the Fort to know better the history. It was a very interesting visit and strength impresses for its size. Yet much of it must be retrieved, unfortunately often in Italy are not funds for the recovery of historical heritage to be passed on. Definitely worth a visit.

  • Is a decadent fortress, nicely restored and kept, if one visits a part with entrance fee and if you want even with guided tour (very good to know the history of the fortress), and part is free, allowing a walk that goes down to the pond. Recommended.

  • Very nice fortified town. For the visit of the fort, view photos, depending on the period, schedules varied if you want to get into the moat, you will find a small passage through the top of the village ;-)

  • Historical place, on the road from Demonte to colle della Maddalena. Beautiful Christmas markets and the event is dancing with wild boars. In summer possibility to swim in the pond.
