  • They are particularly linked to this strong because it brings me back to childhood when I used to play with my mind back from the picnic in the mountains. Take me, for me, was like stepping into a big playground. I was too young to understand and appreciate its history. History tells us that this building was erected in order to block the passage of any French troops from colle della Maddalena. Fortunately, however, was never ascertained only theatre of war and was in prison. Contributed by region, municipality and associations, you can now visit it in its entirety, tracing the long walkways and discover the secrets of this enormous fortress turned out to be the biggest in Piedmont. The tour is divided into two parts: the first part, Wizard, allows to know the history of the Fort and to see some areas that are not freely accessible, the second part can be visited independently, is a multimedia and interactive journey through the Southern Alps that were starting and ending point of peoples, ideas, arts, crafts , goods, innovations. At the end of this, there is a small exhibition "winged messengers" with objects and memories of strong military Dovecote. All must see.

  • The structure, well maintained and open to the public at all times, is transformed in August hosting the Festival dances with wild boar and then again in the winter with the skating rink and the base for skiing. At the top of the Fort, inside the town there is a nice Museum and a summer bar with a large open space and dancing. At the bottom there is a bar open all day overlooking an artificial lake very chilly but relaxing and refreshing destination during the summer.

  • nice ride in the Fort and a return to childhood where he was playing in the Fort, it would be nice to integrate with a visit to the strong (eg. deny) and maybe more historical information and experiences of the people of the country
