  • The only military cemetery in the Val di Fassa which preserves the remains of hundreds of Austro-Hungarian soldiers who fought on various fronts of the first world war and that most were from these places. Really touching

  • A few meters to dl beneath the Church of Santa Giuliana is the cemetery austro-Hungarian Empire of the fallen of the great war. a place in the countryside with its silence and its rows of crosses makes you think and reflect. Absolutely worth visiting and roccogliersi in a prayer!

  • In this Green and quiet mountain Knoll rest over six hundred Austrian-Hungarian Army soldiers died during World War 1. here, being then the Fassa Austrian land, began in July 1914. During those years, the population of the area experienced pain, fatigue and death. And also an unmerited oblivion at the end of the war, because people at the border. In Val San Nicolò there is still a road built by Russian prisoners, here in this field rests their ' enemies ', actually poor brothers sentenced to die in a war not sought. Now at affratellarli there is the great silence of death, broken only by the roar of the tourist traffic.
